Job Description:

RAINBOW is currently looking to fill a Maintenance Planner vacancy within our Agriculture/Breed Engineering Team. The Maintenance Planner will report into the Agriculture Engineering Executive and they will be based in Hammarsdale

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and implement innovations, particularly those that will reduce costs and improve Good communication skills towards all levels within the company
• Work in an auditing world where numbers and processes are important, Drive KPI for EAM processes
• Influence operations across the Function
• Lead and direct the buying office
• Report on the above issues and create a gap list to rectify shortages.
• Immediately solve all operational and resourcing problems within the ambit of responsibility
• Make all operational decisions that fall within the ambit of responsibility
• Oversee inventory management and problem-solving
• Maintain good and clear communication lines between internal customers such as the Maintenance Manager, Production Planner, Maintenance Foreman, Artisan, Shift Managers, Process Leaders, farmers, and poultry men.
• Maintain good and clear communication lines between suppliers of goods or materials as well as manage their invoices and orders. Contractors that work on site. Be able to work with service providers such as Pragma to build an EAM system and maintain it.
• Solid understanding of assets and resource

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and systems
• Knowledge of networks and IT2 to 3 years of supervisory
• Basic knowledge of financial systems
• Be familiar with the concepts of project planning and scheduling, including the use of project management software
• Knowledge of plant and operations

Qualification & Experience:

• Grade 12 with C aggregates in mathematics and science
• Have a technical qualification/diploma or be an artisan (T4/S4/N6) (Advantageous)
• Auditing experience advantageous
• 2 to 3 Years of experience in EAM processes.
• 2 to 3 Years experience in procurement/inventory control
• Have a financial qualification in accounting (Advantageous)Computer literacy – Microsoft Windows (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access
