Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate compliance with the requirements of the Companies Act.
  • To provide Capitec Bank and the Board of Directors with guidance and services in relation to their duties, responsibilities, and powers and also any laws relevant to, or affecting, the company.
  • Facilitate compliance with generally accepted corporate governance practices
  • Administer shareholder matters, meetings and communication in line with the requirements of the Companies Act

Qualification & Experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in managing a company secretarial function in a listed company
  • Previous experience in managing a team within a similar environment
  • Proven experience within company secretarial function within a banking environment
  • A relevant post graduate degree in Finance or Law
  • Registered as a Chartered Secretary with Institute for Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA)
  • A relevant degree in Law or Financial Management
