Job Description:

In this role, the GR Manager will work directly with customers for hands-on delivery. This position requires the ability to work and communicate as a part of a high-performance consulting team in a fast paced environment. The candidate must have a keen understanding of and hands-on experience with SAP SEM-BCS, EC-CS, FI-LC, as well as ECC, BI and a solid accounting and finance background

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute thought leadership to the development and evolution of our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) methodologies and intellectual capital including publishing articles, whitepapers, or performing research in support of EPM initiatives
  • Participate with project teams for complete engagements, following leading practices and coordinating resources
  • Perform initial setup, prototype, configuration, and perform testing accordingly to support the design sessions and to fulfill the customer’s business requirements
  • Design and document the required configurations for the GR solution per the blueprint, including documenting test results, and support go-live efforts
  • Leverage industry specific knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery and networking in professional organizations
  • Review business processes and advise clients on system services available within for SAP BPC, SAP Group Reporting, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) application
  • Support the Business Process and Solution Architecture design sessions; Create functional specifications for development requirements
  • Work closely with end users to design the proper Consolidation and GR solution(s) to support defined business processes and business requirements
  • Contribute/Lead design and blueprinting sessions for SAP BPC, SAP Group Reporting, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) implementations
  • Recommend best practices for configuring GR considering the overall architecture to achieve integration, high performance and stability

Job Requirements:

  • Continuously demonstrate and deliver strong and highly professional customer service commitment
  • Ability to work as a visualization expert to implement the best visualization stories for customer’s business KPI’s
  • Utilize technical and industry knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery, as well as networking in professional organizations
  • Provide continuous feedback on project status and offer constructive options to ensure project continues to meet original expectations
  • Develop and document enterprise knowledge in the form of technical articles, and best practices

Qualification & Experience:

  • MBA or MIS from an accredited college/university is preferred
  • A minimum of ten years of BPC, Group Reporting, and/or SAC related experience with a professional services advisory firm or publicly traded company and experience leading and delivering full life cycle implementations
  • Functional knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards and requirements as well as experience with SAP BW, Fiori, Analysis for Office, HANA Studio.
  • Experience in process reengineering, designing and implementing business performance management applications including budgeting, forecasting, planning, consolidation, and reporting
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university;
