Sanlam Private Wealth is part of the Sanlam Investments Group, a leading investment and wealth management business in South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Australia and Europe.

What will you do?

• Corporate liaison to Sanlam Private Wealth’s local regional and foreign branches
• Design and drive strategic operational initiatives across the business
• Review and report on process adherence in the different regional branches
• Assist in reviewing standardized operational processes and implementing change where required
• US tax documentation:
• Central coordinator of Sanlam Private Wealth’s US tax documentary requirements
• Liaison between Sanlam Private Wealth Tax, Regional Offices and US tax advisors in respect of Sanlam Private Wealth’s US tax reporting obligations
• Assist in process documentation / enhancement, as required
• Direct line manager of Sanlam Private Wealth’s ClientCare and LISP team
• Key contact and point of escalation to Sanlam Private Wealth’s LISP partners
• Assist in planning, compilation and roll-out of training material in respect of operational processes across the business

Qualification And Experience

• Tertiary qualification in Finance / Accounts
• Honors and similar degrees would be advantageous
• Operations management experience

Knowledge And Skills

• Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans)
• Understanding of the private client business and stockbroking environment
• Highly computer literate and highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Thorough understanding of internal control
