Job Description:
To commission and ensure the efficient running / operation of the Oracle databases and server software within Capitec Bank.

Job Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Oracle database administration and design
- Proven ability to perform both Oracle and operating system performance tuning and monitoring
- Experience database change management and data management through the various stages of the development life cycle
- Proven ability to write and understand scripts and PLSQL
- Proven experience in automating jobs and functions
- Experience in supporting and maintaining Oracle Golden Gate
Qualification & Experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in Oracle database administration and design
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology – Systems Engineering or Information
- Technology – Computer Science
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology – Systems Engineering or Information Technology – Computer Science
