Job Description:

To perform telephonic data collection tasks from households in the Gauteng Research Triangle (GRT-Inspired, including Hillbrow, Melusi and Atteridgeville West. )

Job Responsibilities:

• Route calls to appropriate resource
• Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
• Administer the questionnaire telephonically and simultaneously enter information into the relevant database.
• Ensure daily telephonic data collection targets are met.
• Conduct any other duties assigned by the line manager
• Participate in regular and ad hoc training and meetings for data collection
• Educate research participants on GRT Inspired research activities a
• Handle outbound SMS communication with research participants.

Job Requirements:

• Empathy with the respondent is vital.
• Minimum 1-year experience as fieldworker or call centre agent.
• Good voice projection.
• Good data Capturing and typing skills.
• Grade 12
• Fieldwork or call centre work experience will be an advantage.
