Job Description:
The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a dynamic individual to manage the administration of service conditions (salary administration, Government Employees Housing Scheme, medical aid and deductions). This post is stationed in Cape Town – CBD.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of the following: Public Service Act; Labour Relations Act; Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Diseases Act (COIDA); Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA); Public Service Coordinating Bargaining Council (PSCBC) Resolutions; Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) Directives; Skills in the following: Computer literacy in MS Office Package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Communication skill (written and verbal); Ability to analyse, conceptualise and implement policy; Conflict resolution; Supervisory skills.
Qualification & Experience:
An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree or higher); A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
