Job Description:
To provide the Technology Business Unit with financial planning and analysis support to ensure effective short and long term planning as well as detailed financial analysis in order to meet Technology’s business objectives. The Finance Business partner is required to enhance value creation by challenging and assisting business unit heads with insightful analysis as well as co-ordinated financial planning. The Senior Specialist (SS) will work directly with Network Operations teams (Regions, National Field Services, Energy and Decision Support, National Property) .
Job Responsibilities:
- Automation and streamlining of routine tasks
- Deliver robust baseline analysis, waterfall analysis of cost trends
- Build visualizations that drive actionable insights
- Dedicated Business Partner to Network Operations and Regions: Specific focus on Opex.
- Assist with AT Kearney mobile benchmark every 3 years
- Understand sensitivity drivers (price x quantity) and model impact on forecasts.
- Drive Business Reviews by creating Opex by Supplier dashboards
- Technology F4G emerging risks and opportunities on a monthly basis working with TEP team
- Monitoring and Control of expenditure across Field Force Operations, Maintenance, Outsourced Operations, Vandalism, Generator Fuel
- Develop and update Budget planning model based on Zero Based Budget principles
- Adhoc optimization and efficiency projects
Job Requirements:
- Multiple stakeholder management ability
- Experience in financial modeling
- Writing and Reporting
- Coping with Pressures and Setbacks
- Experience in financial and business information analysis
- Solid and demonstrable commercial acumen
- Advanced skills in excel, word and PowerPoint
- Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
Qualification & Experience:
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of the industry
- B-Commerce in finance, accounting, CIMA or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ experience relevant experience preferably in an ICT industry
