Job Description:
To ensure that all rooms and public spaces are in line with the university’s guidelines
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that information or responses to queries are dealt with in an effective medium, sharing information in an appropriate and informative manner
- Daily allocation of linen, cleaning materials and units
- Monthly stock-takes
- Monthly work and shift schedules for room attendants
- Establish effective communication channels in collaboration with internal clients and external Service Providers so as to develop cooperation and teamwork
- Responsible for the identification and development of positive working relationships with internal and external customers built on trust, ethical conduct, quality and integrity
- Ensure that all staff have appropriate PPE for related task as per the Health & Safety Policy/Guideline
- Implementing and monitoring of the maintenance budget
- Guests/residents requests attended to timeously and professionally\
- Identify and adapt to changing operational situations in order to remain within budget
- Give input and recommend on the utilization of resources available in the best possible manner including the cost effective procurement of related services
- Monthly Health & Safety Inspection list completed

Qualification & Experience:
- Grade 12
- Relevant hospitality qualification
- At least 3 years rooms division experience
- At least 3- 5 years’ experience in Hospitality
