Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre SHEQ Administrator to make sure that all health and safety procedures are followed accordingly. Please refer to the minimum requirements, duties and responsibilities below for further information.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct SHEQ inspections and accompany SHEQ Manager on Audits
• In the event of an accident/incident isolate and conduct investigation
• Identify hazards and risks, report to SHEQ Manager and provide Mitigation measures
• Ensure that all equipment checklists are maintained daily
• Ensure all incidents/accidents are captured timeously on the Entropy system and monitor closure
• Liaise with Warehouse Manager and DC Manager
• Ensure maintenance schedules are determined and adhered to
• Carry out weekly harness inspections
• Carry out inspections on all MHE, ensuring MHE is serviceable
• Assist in the event of a crisis
• Ensure all Material Handling Equipment operators conduct pre-start inspections
• Ensure that all equipment relating documentation is maintained
• Ensure house-keeping is maintained
• Assist in the review/updating of policy and procedures
• Carry out trolley inspections

Job Requirements:

• Microsoft knowledge
• Inspections and Audits
• 1 year experience in a SHEQ environment
• Non-conformance Reporting
• Incident/Accident Investigations
• SAMTRAC or equivalent
• Reporting on Entropy
• Matric
• Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments
• Reviewing of Policies and Procedures
