Job Responsibilities:

• To ensure that all Front of House staff are correctly and smartly dressed at all times.
• To ensure that all Front of House areas are clean and tidy at all times.
• To ensure that guests are greeted courteously.
• To carry out systematic checks of all Front of House areas for maintenance requirements, repairs or refurbishing, ensuring that these are actioned without delay.
• To ensure that front of house area has been serviced and maintained to the standards laid down by the Company.
• To ensure that the sales control sheets of the cashiers are balanced daily.
• To be readily available at all times to deal with problems or complaints.
• To hold regular performance appraisals with all senior staff, identifying areas for development and training needs.
• To ensure that enquiries, messages, are dealt with courteously and efficiently.
• To ensure effective liaison between front of house and back of house departments.
• To ensure effective and speedy service.

Job Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal and communicative skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent people skills
• Possess excellent basic math skills
• Strong judgement skills

Qualification & Experience:

• Business management principles
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility with regards to working hours
• Client service orientated
• Fully computer literate
• Minimum requirement Matric/Grade 12
• Have knowledge of service and food and beverage
• Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent level of competence
