Job Description:

Sneaker Factory is looking for a dynamic individual to join their planning team to assist in implementing the merchandise strategy. An Intern Planner assists in analysing product and store performance as well as ensuring that the right stock is in the right place at the right time – which aids to maximise sales and minimise loss.

Job Responsibilities:

• Exceptional verbal and written communication
• To confidently influence and persuade at all levels
• To have displayed a strong entrepreneurial style, i.e. display strong trader mentality
• Strong numerical ability.
• An analytical, detailed and strategic approach to problem solving
• Sound knowledge in supply chain processes
• A strong interest in retail
• An eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills

Job Requirements:

• Basic ability in MS Excel
• Must be a team player
• Passion for analysis, data and numbers
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Problem solver
• Must be unemployed
• A National Diploma in Business Management/BCom or related Studies with majors in Finance, Statistics, Economics, Marketing and or Maths.
• Currently be between the ages of 18 – 35 years old (South African Youth Age Requirement)
