TFG Job Application – Management Accountant

Job Description:

The   management accountant will support the Finance Business Partner with the effective functioning of the finance function within the Service Divisions (Group Store Development and Facilities Management). This encompasses support   in relation to the financial management and value-adding activities undertaken by the Finance Business Partner, and would typically include the preparation and extract of supporting information or inputs to analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze standard monthly management reports received from the Shared Services Functions,
• Perform sundry cost Centre management activities
• Assist with projections/ budgets/ forecasts & month end
• Support with year-end procedures and reports
• Assist with cost analysis to identify cost saving opportunities
• Prepare or assist with ad hoc or tailored financial reports required by management
• Assist in reconciliation of monthly financial results to the Integrated financial plan and rolling 12 months forecast and provide analysis and understanding of these results
• Assist with preparation and analysis of standard monthly management reports (OPEX and CAPEX), and provide interpretation and commentary for review;
• Preparation and/or analyzing management reports and financial performance for operational and capital/project expenditure

Job Requirements:

• Proactive in approach and thinking
• 3-5 year post qualification experience in medium to large corporate
• BCom Degree in Financial/ Management Accounting or equivalent
• Strong Analytical, thorough knowledge of accounting procedures & principles, problem solving ability, good communication skills
• SAP, Intermediate to advance Excel
