Job Description:

St Andrew’s Preschool is an independent co-educational Preschool with a proud history of providing Early Childhood Education to children from 3 months to 5 years of age. We form part of the 120-year-old St Andrew’s School for Girls. Job Requirements:

• Appreciate working in a values-driven, Christian environment
• Have good written and verbal skills
• Have a Completed Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor’s Degree + Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) – (Early Childhood Development or
• Foundation Phase) and SACE registered
• Be able to work within a team-based environment and collaborate with other teachers, assistant teachers, and Head of the Preschool
• Be Computer literate and confident in the use of technology
• Show commitment and uphold the ethos, values and visions of the School
• Be willing to apply for clearance with the Child Protection Act and Sexual Offenses Register
• Be organised, creative and self-motivated as well as being able to work under pressure and maintaining standards of excellence
• Fulfil supervision duties as assigned, including some morning, evening, and weekend events
• Have at least 5 years of Preschool or Grade R experience
