Duties & Responsibilities
As the successful applicant will be responsible to the following but no limited to:
- Managing the Divisional Finane team across South Africa
- Ensure business compliance with Company accounting and administrative policies and practices, in conformance with legislation and generally accepted accounting practice
- Full compliance with tax regulations
- Treasury and Banking
- Driving cashflow and working capital improvement and managing the integrity of the balance sheet including debtor days and days payables.
- Managing Internal Controls
- Managing the Budgeting process
- Ensure a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties, customers and advisors
- Take full responsibility and accountability for commercial results of the Thorburn Division
- Ensure a high level of credibility and manage strong working relationships with external parties, customers and advisors on commercial matters Skills and Competencies

Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant – CA.SA
- Minimum 10 years’experience post qualification with at least 5 years in a senior management position in a large multinational
- Security/ Services Operations working experience is a distinct advantage
