Job Description:

Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum is offering bursary opportunity to high performing and financially needy students who are currently in Grade 12, 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year of study. The bursary opportunity is open for South African students who are accepted or registered for an undergraduate qualification at an accredited University

Job Responsibilities:

• Pass at least 60% average of all subjects / modules to secure continuation of financial assistance in the following academic year’ semester
• Ensure consistent high academic and on-the-job performance
• Take full ownership of their learning
• Adhere to company’s terms and conditions of the student bursary agreement and fixed-term employment contract
• Initiate on-the-job development discussions and seek feedback from supervisor or coach

Job Requirements:

• Textbooks
• Monthly allowance
• Learning material and equipment as prescribed by the learning institution
• Full accommodation (not covered during vacation work)
• Full registration and tuition
• Relevant work exposure through a structured vacation work at Siyanda Bakgatla Platinum Mine

Qualification & Experience:

• Completed application form
• Valid South African Identity Document (SA Citizen)
• Proof of household income
• An average of 60% in 1st, 2nd or 3rd year study in Commerce
• Acceptance letter of proof of registration from university
• Proof of residence
• Grade 12 or academic record
• An average go 60% in Grade 12 results
