Job Description:

To lead the requirements definition, specification, design, implementation and support of ICT-based solutions in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the requirements definition, specification and design of ICT-based solutions in accordance with ICT standards. Implementation and support of ICT-based solutions in accordance with ICT standards. Provide maintenance and enhancement support of the existing systems. Project Management Support. Supervision of the development team.

Job Requirements:

Solid understanding of computer science including algorithms, data structures, operating systems and databases; ICT Governance and Compliance Governance e.g. Cobit and ITIL; Strong knowledge to design test plans according to the software requirements specification; Broad and extensive knowledge of the software development process and its technologies; Extensive knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of software requirements specifications, models and designs;

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. Certification as a Systems Engineer with Incose will be advantageous.
• 6 – 7 years’ experience in Systems Engineering and the integration of products into functioning operational environments, including solution development responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organisation. The applicant must have experience in requirement definition and analysis, the creation of specifications and the management of system integration by means of a total system lifecycle approach. Extensive experience with working on multiple tasks and report status. Experience in interacting with customers. Experience in the Defense industry will be advantageous.
