Sibanye Stillwater Learnership – Supervisor Evaluation

Job Responsibilities:

• General Grade Management ensuring that there is a correlation between the Survey called for Grade (SCFG), Build Up Head Grade (BUHG) and
• the Belt Grade and if any concerning deviations are picked up; that thorough investigation into the possible causes is done, and that any such deviations are corrected promptly
• Produce all reporting requirements associated with Evaluation Department
• Management and supervision of underground stope & development sampling and associated geological observations.
• Adherence to QAQC protocols
• Have knowledge on the creation of evaluation Histograms
• Supervision and management of staff
• Perform all duties related to evaluation protocol

Job Requirements:

• Be declared medically fit for the position and the environment, as determined by the risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye
• Stillwater Occupation Health Centre
• Have good communication and supervisory skills
• Be a team player but also be able to function independently
• Have a minimum of 5 years working experience in an underground Bushveld Complex mine
• Possess a good knowledge of QAQC protocols and all reporting procedures associated with the above
• Be in possession of an Advanced Evaluation Certificate
• Have good knowledge and experience in sampling practices, monthly grade control, evaluation, ore reserve processes, and staff supervision
