Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the scheduling ad-hoc Psychometric Assessments and feedback as required
- Research, develop, review and pro-actively advise on the appropriate assessment methodologies, systems and processes based on industry specific best practice
- Build and maintain relationships with external Psychometric Assessment service providers and manage the process as per SLA’s
- Lead the design, development and implementation of the Assessment Portfolio Management framework, Policies, Procedures and Systems for the South African region
- Coordinate the process to compile psychometric assessments information
- Integrate all sources of psychometric information, analyse trends and make recommendations on development opportunities at individual and team levels
- Provide guidance and technical expertise on issues related to the appropriate assessment methodologies in the South African region
- Obtain quotes for Psychometric Assessment services from approved providers
- Monitor and oversee the consistency and correct standards of test administration
- Conduct ad-hoc psychometric assessments as required, process information and provide feedback to candidate / Line Manager
- Provide in-depth expertise and co-design Psychometric Assessment testing batteries per competency profile / job profile
- Ensure Psychometric Assessments comply with applicable Codes of Practices (IRA, EEA, HPCSA and Ethical Code) and relevant legislation
- Monitor the overall performance and progress of the above in the South African region and provide progress reports to the Unit Manager Assessments and Leadership
Job Requirements:
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Have the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Have excellent understanding of policy and procedure processes, legislation and regulatory requirements in the field of psychometric assessments.
- Be Computer literate in MS Office.
- Have at least 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Psychologist.
- Be self-motivated and a strong team player.
- Be registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as an Industrial Psychologist.
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational Health Centre
- Be in possession of a NQF 9 (Master’s Degree) in Industrial Psychology.
