Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct Safe Behavioural Observations.
- Achievement of SHE standards in the assigned area.
- Attend SHE related meetings, workshops etc.
- Adherence to quality standards and procedures.
- Adhere to housekeeping standards and requirements.
- Operation and monitoring of plant processes.
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and work schedules.
- Participation in the conduction of planned tasks observations
- Participate on incident investigations and SHE audits.
- Compliance to SHE standards, procedures and policies.
- Perform housekeeping duties and ensure high standard of housekeeping is maintained in his area
- Assist during breakdowns and emergencies.
- Participate in the application of Fatal Risk Protocols.
- Participate in mitigation of operational risks and threats.
- Work towards the achievement of production targets.
- Assist with the handling of materials.
- Participate in baseline risks assessments.
- Monitor equipment and machinery performance.
Job Requirements:
- Have working knowledge of safety standards and regulations
- Have Grade 12 or equivalent NQF 4 qualification with Maths and Science
- Have working knowledge of production plant processes and systems
- Have basic understanding of chemicals
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk based medical examination at the relevant Sibanye Stillwater
- Occupational Health Centre.
- Be analytical with attention to detail
- Have understanding of quality practices and principles
