Job Description:

To assist in the management of a Medirite Plus Pharmacy and to take responsibility as the on duty Pharmacist when necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Motivate and discipline team
• Housekeeping
• Operational performance monitoring
• Pharmacy administration
• People and enabling capacity management/resourcing
• Manage cross-functional relationships e.g. with prescribers, suppliers, head Office, store manager, Cash office
• Developing and tutoring of staff, interns and assistants
• Customer serviceOperational work planning, priority setting, and scheduling
• Stock control

Job Requirements:

• Computer literate – MS Office skills
• Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems
• Sound numerical skills
• Effective conflict management skills
• Knowledge of financial management principles and systems
• Unisolv experience
• Bilingual, preferably fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Knowledgeable with regard to pharmacy legislation

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience working in a retail pharmacy
• Registered as a pharmacist at the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
• B.Pharm degree
