Job Responsibilities:

  • Motivate and discipline team
  • Stock control
  • Marketing campaigns
  • People and enabling capacity management/resourcing
  • Customer service
  • Manage cross-functional relationships e.g. with prescribers, suppliers, head Office, store manager, Cash office
  • Sales
  • Developing and tutoring of staff, interns and assistants
  • Operational performance monitoring
  • Resolve escalated operational issues
  • Operational work planning, priority setting, and scheduling

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to lead, motivate and discipline a team
  • Bilingual, preferably fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer centric skills
  • Effective conflict management skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and tutor staff, interns and assistants
  • Deadline driven, excellent organizing and planning skills
  • Unisolv experience
  • Sound numerical skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • Registered as a pharmacist at the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC)
  • Experience in managing staff will be advantageous
  • Registered as a tutor
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy will be an advantage
  • B.Pharm degree
