Job Responsibilities:

  • Operational performance monitoring
  • Marketing campaigns
  • Compliance
  • People and enabling capacity management/Resourcing
  • Priority setting and scheduling of staff
  • Resolve escalated operational issues
  • Budget management
  • Manage cross-functional relationships e.g. with Prescribers, Suppliers, Head Office, Store manager, Cash office
  • Sales
  • Operational work planning

Job Requirements:

  • Unisolv experience
  • Good language skills – fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Knowledge of Retail operations (Advantageous)
  • Marconi experience (advantageous)
  • Knowledgeable with regard to pharmacy legislation
  • Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems
  • Sound numerical skills
  • Knowledge of financial management principles and systems
  • Computer literacy – MS Office skills

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment
  • Registered as a pharmacist at the pharmacy council (SAPC)
  • Experience in managing staff
  • BPharm degree/ equivalent qualification
  • Registered as a tutor
