Job Description:

To ensure continuous plant availability through effective and safe maintenance work on electrical equipment and related electrical systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Fault finding and participation in RCA’s
• Read and understand Electrical diagrams
• Standby duties
• Implementation of modifications
• Safety and good housekeeping
• Use SAP system to load notifications and do other related system activities
• Maintenance on all electrical equipment and related electrical systems

Job Requirements:

• Mechanical experience, pump, pulleys and alignment (wish)
• Electrical motors
• Fault finding experience
• Knowledge and skills of emergency procedures
• Transformer maintenance
• Switching experience
• Switchgear maintenance
• Experience in an Electrical environment

Qualification & Experience:

• Trade test certificate- NQF 4 (Must)
• Valid driver’s license (Must)
• Able to communicate and correspond in English
• Grade 12 / N3 with English, Maths and Science (SG or HG) (Must)
