RMB Institutional Sales Trader

Job Description:

To identify opportunities and develop relationships with Institutional investors and investment consultants in assigned institutional market channels using a growth strategy for the assigned channel or jurisdiction

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and encourage participation in activities that are appropriate for own and employee development in area of responsibility
• Identify and participate in activities that are appropriate for own development as a life-long learner
• Identify, drive and implement ideas, policies, procedures, standards and frameworks to enhance sales and increase profit and manage future fit practice
• Deploys integrated risk management, governance and compliance frameworks throughout area of responsibility
• Establish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions
• Design and deliver customer service solutions, systems and interactions aligned to Organisational values and service standards that build the brand
• Develop tactical plans to drive revenue growth
• Manage expenditure planning and variances within approved budget parameters
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across business areas and across the group
• Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership in area of expertise
• Analyse information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making purposesProvide the highest level of engagement and client service excellence for target institutions and deepen key relationships in target markets
• Define and drive the tactical sales strategy for area of responsibility

Qualification & Experience:

• Minimum Qualification – Honours qualification in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, or other quantitative discipline
• Preferred Qualification – Masters qualification in computer science, statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, or other quantitative discipline
• Experience – 8 to 12 years experience in a similar environment, of which 3 to 4 years ideally at senior specialist level
  Additional Knowledge – Knowledge of financial markets and FSI in the assigned channel(s)
