Job Description:

We at RCL FOODS are in search for a Machine Minderto join our Speciality Spartan Business Unit/Division. The role will be based in Spartan and report to the Plant Engineer.

Job Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of machines.
• Operating machinery efficiently on a day to day basis.
• Prepared to work shifts and overtime when required.
• Achieve desired shift production targets.
• Basic PC skills.
• Safety inspection and reporting.
• Must comply with Food safety standards, and previous Food manufacturing experience will be an advantage.
• Assist with breakdowns and services on equipment.
• Disassemble and assemble equipment between shifts for cleaning.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Ensure machine related documentation to be completed timeously and accurate.
• Start up and shutdown of equipment.

Job Requirements:

• Applicants must have 3 years or more working in a technical environment
• Ability to work systematically.
• Be able to capture job cards on a PC
• Grade 12/N3 with technical subjects and mathematics will be an advantage
• Ability to prioritize work load.
