Purpose of the position:
The IT Applications Administrator, under the direct supervision of the Information Systems Manager, will be responsible for the development, integration, configuration, and implementation and support of information systems used within TB HIV Care, both transversal as well as programmatic.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
- Three years of full-time computer experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products on desktop/laptop PCs
- Microsoft certification PL-900 Power Platform required
- Proficient with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, Python and JSON will be advantageous
- Clear criminal record
Responsibilities:
Development
· Design, build, test, implement and maintain integrations between the packaged applications and other internal and external applications
· Design, build, test, implement and maintain custom components and extensions as necessary for the packaged applications
- Aid Information Systems Manager with the reviewing of scope, requirements, and detailed designs to meet the unit needs
- Aid Information Systems Manager in maintaining documentation for all information system processes
- Administer the packaged applications, including design and configuration
- Document technical specifications and other requirements to support each application
Systems Support
- Entry, update and follow up in system support request/management system
- Triage problems and resolve issues
- Provide on-going support to all users of the information systems
- Assist with the installation, configuration, upgrade, and ongoing usability of software associated with the computer systems in use
- Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with end user software
- Configure and monitor application performance, capacity, and response times
- Provide basic training/support in accessing the network and use of various software applications
- Ensure that the integrity of functions, such as user profiles / security, is maintained (avoiding unnecessary rework / duplication)
- Perform backups as directed by Information Systems Manager
