Job Description:

In order to support the growth of this new company, we are looking for a Data Scientist based in Johannesburg.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understand multiple Data sources, KPIs used, calculations and operational usage.
• Manage budget
• Management of data integrity
• Continuously explore opportunities to enhance BI capability of the business
• Provide regular feedback
• Extensive analysis of data to provide business insight
• Consolidate data from multiple sources, model, analyze and feed reports to the business team.

Job Requirements:

• Relevant IT or BComm degree, with good knowledge in Statistics and/or Mathematics
• Advanced experience in Google Data studio / Power BI
• Experience in data modeling and interpretation
• High tolerance for stress and working in a high pressured environment
• Advanced experience in Big Query
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Tolerance and patience in working with huge MS excel files
• Strategic, analytical and logical thinking
• Minimum of 2 years of analytical experience in the Retail sector
• Advanced experience in Excel
