Job Description:

To provide technical services for engineering designs and asset care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Consults on discipline related issues
• Delivers standardization outputs
• Provides technical services
• Contributes to the integrity of the asset base
• Performs and contributes to design work

Job Requirements:

• Engineering theory knowledge
• Demonstrate ability to translate experience in problem solving
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence which enables the individual to engage at various levels in the organisation
• Standard Psychometric assessment
• Communication skills
• Engineering design skills
• Knowledge of relevant processes, procedures, policies, guidelines and legislation
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Analytical skills
• Technical problem solving skills

Qualification & Experience:

• 3 Years Technical Experience in Power Generation, Transmission or Distribution
• National Diploma Or National N Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronic / Computer / Civil/ Chemical/ Metallurgical/ Industrial Engineering
• Professional Registration body: ECSA as a Professional Engineering Technician
