Job Description:

Roedean School (SA) is an independent school situated in Parktown, Johannesburg seeking to appoint a highly motivated specialist, whose strengths will lie in good verbal and written communication as well as being an energetic and analytical teacher.

Job Requirements:

• Committed to growing and maintaining a high profile for the department;
• Visionary, enthusiastic, and has the ability to inspire pupils to achieve their full potential;
• Able to promote a very high standard of teaching and learning;
• Capable of developing creative new material;
• A person that enjoys working as a member of a team of innovative teachers and who has a proven track record of strong administrative and
• Inter-personal skills in the leadership of the department;
• Preferably highly experienced as a marker and/or moderator with IEB work experience;
• Registered with SACE; and
• Able to support a blended learning approach, highly proficient in IT, able to integrate technologies and be open to new teaching methodologies;
• An effective communicator with strong inter-personal skills;
• Prepared to support the Christian ethos and Guiding Principles of Roedean School
• Willing to teach Grades 8 through to Matric;
