Job Description:

This position reports to the School Leader/Dean of Operations and is responsible for supporting the School Leadership Team, managing the IT helpdesk at the school campus and enforcing its existing IT policy, and other functional teams at the school in the planning, development, and implementation of all technology-related projects related to academic systems, residential life, and sports activities, and school-based events.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Run tech capacity-building training sessions for different functions at the school (academic and non-academic) at least termly to enhance their job productivity
  • To support the school teams in logging in external support tickets
  • Liaise/support the central Global Tech on printing toner procurement, stock management, and replacements
  • Liaise/support the central Global Tech on managing the usage & maintenance of the printers
  • To support the central Global Tech team with the management of the teacher’s Chromebooks / Laptops
  • Attending teacher PD on a regular basis.
  • Support the school leadership team or the central Global Academic Support team to conduct Academic year roll-over & Term roll-over responsibilities
  • Support the school with Termly reports submissions (correct report formats, accompanying letters, school leader’s signatures, etc).
  • Ensure all teachers sign the asset management document and ensure safe storage of the paperwork
  • Creating and running professional development experiences for teammates on tech.
  • Collect classroom tech assets from class teachers at the end of every term.

  • Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10 desktop administration
  • You pay attention to detail and work with high accuracy
  • Cabling and physical network maintenance
  • Proficient and able to demonstrate competence and comfort with

Qualification & Experience:

  • You have a minimum of 2 years of technical experience (experience in IT support is an added advantage)
  • You have strong organizational skills and can handle many projects at the same time with minimal supervision
  • You are able to demonstrate competence and comfort with PC/Linux/Mac-based computer systems
  • A complete diploma/degree in an IT-related field
  • You have proficient knowledge of computer networks and can troubleshoot network-related issues
