ISASA Teaching Vacancies – Foundation Phase Educator

Job Description:

Woodlands International College is a progressive, co-educational, independent College situated on a pristine wetland on the northern boundary of Boksburg. We are currently recruiting for a full-time Foundation Phase educator for our Junior College. The ideal applicant will have a proven and successful track record in teaching within the Independent Schooling, IEB, environment. We are looking to appoint a passionate, dynamic educator with creativity and vision

Job Requirements:

• Have a willingness to participate in all facets of College life both within the classroom and in extra-curricular activities
• Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to lead and inspire others
• Have experience teaching within the Foundation Phase
• At least 5 years’ experience in the teaching within the Foundation Phase
• Be a lifelong learner, constantly open to new trends in education
• Knowledge of Kagan Skills, Number Sense and Time2Read or THRASS experience would be beneficial
• A recognised qualification in Foundation Education
• Flexibility and being able to work effectively in a progressive environment
• Be proficient in technology to enhance and support learning
• Current SACE registration
