Job Requirements:

• Experience in ETL Technologies, MS SQL and Data Warehousing together with an understanding of IT and Service
• Management Methodologies are requirements for this role. Azure Cloud Data Engineer competencies will be advantageous.

Job Responsibilities:

• Investec Sandton is looking for a Data Engineer who will be responsible for designing and building end to end ETL and data curation solutions for the collection of Data Decisions Engines.
• The role requires working with stakeholders and analysts on requirements to provide technological best-practice.
• The candidate would be expected to support existing Data Decisions Engines solutions and where required to reverse engineer applications to improve processes.
• It is expected of the candidate to participate in upholding industry best practices amongst peers and to improve the data validation framework. Where required the candidate will identify and define application problems through troubleshooting processes.
• The role falls within the larger Data Decisions Enablement team where a senior Engineer will play a role guiding upcoming engineers and managing project delivery.
