Job Responsibilities:

Issue trip authorities. Carry out vehicle inspections. Capture Log returns. Arrange for repairs and vehicle servicing. Provide driver services. Receive and control incident / accident reports and traffic fines. Capture in registers. Process reports and fines in line with prescribed procedures. Process approved applications for subsidised vehicles. Coordinate with suppliers, receive new vehicles and issue to applicants. Receive and verify accuracy log sheets. Submit log sheets to HR for processing. Compile and maintain records (e.g. asset records/databases). Check and issue furniture, equipment and accessories to components and individuals. Identify redundant, non-serviceable and obsolete equipment for disposal. Verify asset register.

Job Requirements:

A Grade 12 Certificate. Administration exposure preferable in transport and assets will be an added advantage. COMPETENCIES: Knowledge – Basic knowledge of transport and assets. Knowledge of the GPG and DID policies and procedure. Legislation and Public Service Regulations SKILLS- Report writing Communication and Computer skills.
