Job Responsibilities:
Organisation of both academic and service functions of the department including ward rounds, outpatient’s clinics, clinical training wards rounds. Participate in clinical research and academic programmes in the clinical Department. Train under – and post graduate students. Provide academic and administrative leadership. Form part of the senior management in the hospital. Render after hours services. Participate in the National and provincial structures.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years’ experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Specialist in the relevant speciality. Extensive experience in academic setting. National and international academic standing. Recommendation: Strong leadership, training and organisational skills
