GPG Learnership – Head of Clinical Unit Diagnostic

Job Responsibilities:

Provide leadership within the department of Diagnostic Radiology at DGMAH to fulfil the administrative, academic and research requirements of an appointment to the Joint Staff Establishment with Sefako Makgatho Health Science University. Supervise pre-and post-graduate training in the Diagnostic Radiology Department at DGMAH. Set and conduct examinations at both undergraduate and Masters levels. Render support services to the Clinical Department and support outreach and other levels of care in our drainage areas (North west & Limpopo provinces). Undertake all tasks as directed by the Head Clinical Department and Head of Clinical Services at the Institution

Job Requirements:

Qualification in the field of Diagnostic Radiology. Should be in possession of either FC RAD or M Med Rad (diagnostics). Possession of a PHD will be an added advantage. Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Specialist in Diagnostic Radiology. Current Registration with the HPCSA as Medical specialist in Diagnostic Radiology. A minimum of three (3) years appropriate experience after registration as a Medical Specialist
