Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, self-motivated and driven individual to join the TFG Design & Manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the compliance to TFG standards for quality and quality management systems in all non-owned strategic KZN manufacturing partners. This role is integral to guide and advise Suppliers to implement the required Quality Processes and Procedures that are outlined in TFG’s Manufacturing Strategy. This function will be required to work with any and or Strategic Supply Partners within the Durban (KZN) region as indicated by the Head of Manufacturing Operations – KZN.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist, support and develop quality team structures in factories
• Drive implementation of quality management systems (QMS) and maintenance thereof
• Facilitation of implementation of all TFG quality processes in factories
• Drive continuous improvement projects in supply base.
• Drive corrective actions plans and facilitate problem solving at factory level.
• Liaison between factory, Head of Manufacturing Operations KZN and QA division
• Transfer skills and best practices across factories – Pre-production, Sample Development, BPS, AQL methodology, QC processes & procedures
• Stay abreast with any developments that relate to apparel Quality, innovation and technological advances.

Job Requirements:

• Experience of 8 – 10 years in a Similar Role
• Competencies and behaviours for success:
• Diligent, Attention to detail, Conscientious
• Analytical and adept problem solving
• A National Degree with preference to Clothing Manufacturing, Garment Technology, Quality Management or any other
• Management or Equivalent Qualification
• Experience in Clothing Manufacturing Production Planning, clothing supply chain or similar/ related environment
• Energetic and Self-motivated
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills
