Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage range assortments
  • Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external suppliers
  • Understand and interpret business trends in terms of the Markham target market
  • Manage replenishment stock
  • Effectively communicate, present and implement the product strategy
  • Analyse of merchandise performance and relevant outcomes proposed
  • Financial and strategic management of the product e.g. product planning, allocations, controlling OTB, reviewing weekly & monthly figures
  • Work closely with the buying team to maximise sales, analyse performance & optimise product stock levels

Job Requirements:

  • To be able to make decisions and meet deadlines whilst working in a fast-paced, pressurised environment
  • A detailed and methodical approach to work
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication
  • Resilience and emotional maturity
  • Trader mentality, business acumen and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Proven working experience as a Merchandise Planner (3 years minimum)
  • JDA Planning / Allocations experience (2 years minimum)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
