Job Responsibilities:
- Manage range assortments
- Establish and maintain collaborative partnerships with internal and external suppliers
- Understand and interpret business trends in terms of the Markham target market
- Manage replenishment stock
- Effectively communicate, present and implement the product strategy
- Analyse of merchandise performance and relevant outcomes proposed
- Financial and strategic management of the product e.g. product planning, allocations, controlling OTB, reviewing weekly & monthly figures
- Work closely with the buying team to maximise sales, analyse performance & optimise product stock levels
Job Requirements:
- To be able to make decisions and meet deadlines whilst working in a fast-paced, pressurised environment
- A detailed and methodical approach to work
- Exceptional verbal and written communication
- Resilience and emotional maturity
- Trader mentality, business acumen and entrepreneurial thinking
- Proven working experience as a Merchandise Planner (3 years minimum)
- JDA Planning / Allocations experience (2 years minimum)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
