Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Calculate the value of the fund’s assets (net asset value and gross asset value) and analyse it according to the market value
• Control expenditure and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
• Compile reports that track progress and guide business to make informed decisions
• Manages risks in own area of responsibility
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across area of specialisation
• Ensure development and continuous value add improvement to operational processes
• Display and encourage an appreciation of teamwork and inclusivity
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation
• Identify and utilise opportunities for revenue growth to deliver on sales targets

Job Requirements:

• Advancedknowledge in treasury, market risk, fixed income, fx, banking products andderivatives
• Stronganalytical and data management skills
• Experience working bothindependently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
• Financial instrument valuationexperience would be advantage
• Experience in treasury, controlling, accounting, trading or productmanagement
• Minimum Qualification – Chartered Accountant (SA)
• Prior banking/Financial Servicesexperience
• Good understanding of financialinstruments and hedging principles required
• Additional Knowledge – Knowledge of IFRS9 andIAS9
• Experience – 3 to 5 years experience in a similar environment, of which 1 to 2 years ideally at a junior specialist level
