Job Description:

To provide site construction project management coordination services to ensure that the project is completed safely within time, cost and quality constraints while optimizing all resources used

Job Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge – Construction management, Earned value management
  • Skills – Analysis/judgement/problem solving skills.
  • Assessment – Performance will be measured through the prescribed Eskom performance management system.
  • Behavioral – Dealing with complexity, Decision making, Resilience and flexibility.
  • (EVM), Planning and scheduling, Project management, Contract management, Cost engineering & cost classification, Cost management.
  • Leadership – Achievement orientated, Business acumen, Communication and engagement, Customer orientation, Integrity and values.

Job Requirements:

  • Coordinate and report on construction activities to ensure effective site contract and cost management is achieved.
  • Facilitate and coordinate all outages required for the commissioning where required.
  • Comply to all Eskom and site related governance and safety, health, environment, risk and quality (SHERQ) requirements.
  • Support the provision of construction project management standard services throughout the project life cycle.
  • Provide construction management support during the project planning.
  • Provide construction management support to project engineering.
  • Coordinate all site personnel and contractors functions.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Project Management / Construction Management 3 years
  • National Diploma in Built Environment/Commerce/Human Science at NQF 6 with 240 Credits
