Job Description:

Manage the implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting of the processes and outcomes associated with plans and procedural application designed to accomplish key service delivery objectives with respect to the provision of fines administration, prosecution and adjudication services, related to traffic infringements and By-Law citations, through the coordination of operations and quality systems in accordance with relevant legislative prescripts

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the assets of the section;
  • Manage, implement and control the Key Performance Indicators (KPAs) and outcomes of personnel within the Fines Administration (Prosecutions) section for the purpose of effectiveness and efficiency of the Section;
  • Implement procedures, systems and control to regulate specific work sequences associated with the functionality;
  • Manage all administrative matters and execute functions
  • Identify underperforming employees, investigate the cause of such, establish training needs or refer to Employee Assistance Programme where necessary;

Job Requirements:

  • Computer literacy including MS Office Applications;
  • Collaborative/Teamwork, Values and Integrity, Attention to detail and quality focused;
  • Time Management, working independently, under pressure and ability to prioritize.
  • Management, interpersonal and strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Impact and Influence according to City’s protocols, Legislation, and standards
  • Customer and Service Delivery Management (Batho Pele) Ethics, Professionalism;
  • High level of confidentiality and organizational skills;

Qualification & Experience:

  • No criminal record.
  • Valid Driver’s license;
  • Grade 12 plus National Diploma or equivalent at NQF level 6;
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in the relevant field;
