Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage adherence to compliance governance within the teams
• Ensure work management framework, systems, and associated routines are maintained at site (integrity of OM design)
• Assess the ‘fitness for duty’ of team members and take any subsequent necessary action
• Assess the safety leadership capabilities of direct reports
• Ensure a structured process (as per Operating Model) is followed for definition of Measures for a site or department
• Engage in physical safety checks, interventions and coaching
• Create safety reports and manage analysis of KPIs based on available data
• Adhere to Anglo American compliance requirements and ensure compliance of teams within work area
• Facilitates the process of identification, prioritization and implementation of improvement projects, based on sound BI principles such as ‘Theory of Constraints’, ‘Value stream mapping’, and approved methodologies, such as the A&I process, time studies, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Simio Modeling Experience is advantageous
• Driver’s Licence (light vehicle)
• Computer Literacy for the role
• At least 3 years’ experience post-graduation
• Must be deemed medically fit

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification/certification in the following would be advantageous: Lean, Six Sigma, PMP etc.
• Relevant Tertiary qualification – minimum of a B. Tech or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. (Mining, Industrial, Processing, Geoscience or relevant)
• Relevant Tertiary qualification – minimum of a B. Tech or Bachelor’s degree. (Mining, Industrial, Processing, Geoscience etc.)
