Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer responsible for providing a dedicated project management service to the operations to support Refractory and Rebuild projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports for management or other information customers
• Develop appropriate technical models in conjunction with internal and external service providers
• Support and participate in the training and development requirements of the team
• Provide input to the establishment and development of appropriate specifications, standards and procedures for all issues relating to project design, materials technology and quality assurance/control
• Effective management for agreed ongoing, expansion and site driven projects
• Provide input and advise to ensure alignment with Process Division priorities and strategies for Refractory / Rebuild projects

Qualification & Experience:

• 5 years post Engineering qualification experience
• 5 years Supervisory experience, preferably in a smelter environment
• Project Management skills
• Degree or National Diploma in Engineering
• Medical fitness test will be required
• GCC Mines & Works / Factories beneficial
• Experienced in project site management (Refractory / Rebuild Projects)
