Job Description:

To train employees within the Micro Pathology laboratory to ensure competence and continuous improvement of skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Design and develop training material and competency tools in outcomes based format to ensure effective transfer of skills Assess staff in order to make judgements regarding staff competence Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Facilitate training in order to ensure a sufficient level of competence on the benches, Perform training related administration tasks in order to ensure effective planning of training and recording and storing of training data

Job Requirements:

Experience in pathology laboratory environment, Knowledge: GCP/GLP requirements, Knowledge: HPCSA regulations, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: MS Word and MS Excel, Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), Knowledge: Quality Control, Knowledge: relevant syllabi, Senior and / or supervisory or managerial experience, Training experience within a laboratory environment

Qualification & Experience:

HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, National Diploma: Biomedical Technology, Registered Assessor, Registered Facilitator, Registered Modertor
