Job Responsibilities:

• Apply primer paint on all plant equipment to be installed at the workshop before fitted onsite
• Box up flange
• Prepare work piece using power tools and hand tools (Cutting, Grinding and polishing)
• Maintain and repair plant and yard areas Signage
• Maintain good housekeeping in the workshop and plants
• Working together with artisans performing maintenance at the factory
• Maintain workshop tools and equipment
• Disposal of unwanted articles/scrap in a safe and environmental friendly manner
• Removal of old plant equipment by means of Cutting with power tools, hand tools, measuring tools and gas torch
• General Rigging
• Maintain workshop Storage Containers
• Perform basic welding (Spot tac pieces together)

Qualification & Experience:

• Computer Literacy
• Completed a Level 2 Learnership (NQF 2) / N2 Mechanical
• Matric / Grade 12
• Minimum six months’ experience as Artisan Aide
